Company History
Estee Lauder Incorporated was founded in 1946 by Estee and her husband Joseph Lauder. They soon established a department store account with Saks Fifth Avenue. Today, the company's headquarters is in New York City and sell a whole line of cosmetics, skincare products, fragrances, and men's products. The company has purchased several other professional makeup companies, including Stila and Smashbox. Estee Lauder is still owned by the Lauder family and has sales of over $10 million.
